Mardi Himal Trek
This is our Mardi Himal Trek
One of the latest Annapurna regional treks is the Mardi Himal Trek. This is a shorter trek with breathtaking mountain views along a mountainous ridge above Annapurna Base Camp. It offers an amazingly diverse trek over a relatively short period.
Starting with light forests you quietly make your way through farming tea houses up through pristine forests and into vast areas surrounded by Rhododendrons. You then emerge into a dramatic low camp with fantastic views of Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre). There’s a steep climb up to high camp which offers incredible views of the Annapurna Massif.
This trek can be extended by a further trip out to base camp which is snow covered and has magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
