Manaslu Circuit Trek
Our Manaslu Circuit Trek
The Manaslu Circuit has been very popular among experienced trekkers for many years. Recently with improved accommodation and facilities it is opening up to many new trekkers. We have experienced guides from this region who take our clients around this circuit at their own pace. The Manaslu Circuit’s main attraction are the spectacular views of Mount Manaslu itself (8163m) along with the Ganesh Himal Range.
It’s a unique trek surrounding you with a blend of Nepali Hindu, Tibetan and Buddhist villages all along the trail. As you start low, at around 700 m, the landscapes are incredibly varied ranging from green countryside and lush forests to spectacular high altitude landscapes skirting huge glaciers.
On the trek we follow the Budhi Gandaki River from Arugath to its very source just near Larkya Pass (5125 m). We then trek over the Larkya Pass which is probably the hardest part of the trek for many. The rewards are plentiful though with the awesome Himalayas stretching out above you with spectacular glaciers running beside them.
Our descent brings us through pristine alpine forests at Bhimtang before we enter close to the main Annapurna Circuit route towards Besisahar. The Manaslu Circuit trek is a fantastic adventure for experienced trekkers and new trekkers alike. At Trek Around Nepal we trek at a pace you feel comfortable with so you are guaranteed to have the experience of a lifetime.
